Barikama

Barikama yoghurt is a project of resistance born in Rome against the exploitation of the immigration in Rosarno countryside.
It is small business run by an independent group from West Africa. They use their farm skills to produce healthy and tasty handmade products.
For this project I digitalised a pre-existing hand-drawn sketched logotype. The theme was created to be replicable and transferrable for multiple printed supports.
It was important to respect the background and understand the context of what we were going to promote.
This is why I opted for natural colours and fabric elements such as rough canvas.
